The Peoples Network (TPN)
I'm always talking about what matters in film. Get it What Matters Films, OK i'll stop. Really though, there is a filmmaker husband and wife team out that knows what matters in film. They have been an inspiration and beacon of light for independent filmmakers and actors all around.I just don't see how they do it. The long hours the hectic schedules of raising a family and grooming a budding industry of young raw talent!I have seen them give themselves to all that ask. I recently went to one of their TPN Award Banquet and it was immaculate. They cut no corners they went all the way out. It was amazing to see their compassion . This husband and wife team go by the name of Bobby and Renee Peoples. So the next time you are on Facebook surfing look up the The Peoples Network or when you searching for that late night chill flick on Roku or Netflix look them up you might just be in for a wild ride!.TPN on Youtube

Ga the steady climb to Hollywood Dominance
Why is everyone flocking to Georgia in the film industry. Well it started in 2008 with the film tax credits. From there a young man by the name of Tyler Perry stepped on the scene and decided to call Ga his home. Georgia which has long been a hidden gem to filmmakers now had become the sleeping giant. Not many people realize that lonely little bench that Forrest Gump sat on was in little old Savannah,Ga.By early 2012 everyone was trying to get in on the film business. Offering crazy ridiculous film credits that the industry was eager to gobble up. Guess what though! Non could maintain it but Ga and North Carolina. Then came 2015 and the religious zealots in Carolina put their foot in their mouth and the industry went a running back to Ga in full swing with their tales between their legs. Last year the film industry had close to a 7 billion dollar impact on the state. I have to say thank you to a republican run state that doesn't mind a little glitz and glam while still holding on to their conservative values.
